Tutorial Center Program Coordinator
Position Purpose
Responsible for providing management of the daily operations of the Writing Center. Support the Director and the Writing Center student staff, who serve undergraduate and graduate programs on both the Olympia and Tacoma campuses. Liaise with assigned staff and offices to advocate for high-impact practices for student writers across all disciplines and within unique populations of learners. Perform a variety of functions, including day-to-day floor management; tutor scheduling, mentoring, and work assignment; preparing and delivering workshops; promoting the services and resources of the Center; ordering and purchasing; and managing projects. Under the supervision of the Director, develop and integrate peer tutoring training into program to support English Language Learners (ELL) and multilingual writers.

This is a full-time, overtime-eligible position in Academic Affairs on the Olympia Campus of The Evergreen State College.
Salary and Benefits: $3,686 – $4,942 per month of full-time work + excellent benefits including paid sick and vacation leave; paid campus holidays; a generous medical, dental, life, and disability insurance package; and a tuition waiver program.
