LaFayette Central Schools LaFayette, New York Position Available Cook I Effective September 1, 2023 Hours to be determined Hourly Rate per Negotiated Agreement
Duties Included: Supervising and participating in the preparation and serving of food in the school cafeteria. Ordering and maintaining inventories. Overseeing daily banking, register reports. Preparing daily production records, and monitoring HACCP and sanitation plans. Interested Candidates should have one year of work experience, or its part time equivalent in large scale food preparation or have completed 30 semester credit hours from a regionally accredited college, university or NYS Board of Regents granted degree in culinary arts, food service preparation or closely related field. Or two years work experience as a Food Service Helper I, or Food Service Helper II that has been involved in the cooking in a school district. Or an equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of the above. Preferred experience in Native Cuisine Must meet Civil Service Requirements
