    SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 11am to 7pm (Recruitment schedule requires varied hours).
    • Occasional evening or weekend work required for recruitment events are primarily scheduled on the weekend.
    • Travel required for out of area recruitment trips, usually a few times per semester.
    REMOTE WORK ELIGILITY: No

    HOURS/WEEK and MONTHS/YEAR: 35 hours/week and 52 weeks/year

    GENERAL PURPOSE

    This position serves as a member of the Admissions team, focusing on recruiting prospective graduate students as outlined in the admissions enrollment plan. The Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions will be required to represent Molloy University, both on and off campus, to prospective students, other individuals and organizations involved in the university selection process. The individual will be responsible for attending various recruitment events, conducting information sessions, and representing the University at day, evening and weekend events. The Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions will be required to counsel all prospective graduate applicants by in-person or online appointments, phone calls and e-mail. This position is the admissions liaison with all graduate and doctoral department heads and handles the admissions process, discussion of recruitment efforts, and updating necessary graduate and doctoral admissions information.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Schedule and attend graduate recruitment events, primarily in the territories of NY, NJ and CT, and other locations as needed.
    • Evaluate Graduate applications, prepare them for review by Academic Departments, and process decisions by departments. This includes maintaining constant contact with academic departments regarding applicants, scheduling recruitment meetings, assisting with new student enrollment, etc.
    • Assist with undergraduate recruitment by attending on-site evaluation days, recruitment events & folder review.
    • Interview prospective graduate students & respond to e-mails from prospective students.
    • Coordinate Virtual and On-Campus Graduate Recruitment and Informational Events.
    • Manage graduate-focused Slate implementations, updates, and edits. Maintain the graduate application and reading process, making sure they are up to date in the online application system and CRM.
    REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's degree
    • 5 to 8 years of work-related experience
    • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Jenzabar Software
    • Slate
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Master's Degree

    SALARY INFORMATION

    When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring salary range for this position is $60,000 - $67,000. This hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
