  • The Barbara H. Hagan School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Molloy University seeks a full-time, experienced faculty member to participate in the development and delivery of our new Physician Assistant (PA) program. We seek a candidate with expertise to teach relevant courses in the program, and significant experience in curriculum development, teaching, and accreditation in the PA program, to join our supportive and energetic community of teacher-scholars. Experience in academic or program administration is preferred. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for mentorship, collaboration with colleagues, teaching, service and inter-professional education.

    All of our health professions programs take a holistic and personal approach to the development of students as clinicians, leaders, and advocates for health equity and improvement of healthcare, and as lifelong learners. The ideal candidate will embrace these values, and will have qualifications to teach and evaluate PA students, mentor faculty, develop curriculum, participate in program accreditation, and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary colleagues. Other opportunities include participation in inter-professional education and interdisciplinary activities, engagement with clinical partners, program assessment, research, and participation on school and university committees.

    Minimum Requirements:

    The ideal candidate will also meet the following minimum requirements:
    • Master's Degree; Terminal degree is strongly preferred
    • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a graduate-level Physician Assistant program
    • Academic administration background is preferred
    Salary Information:

    When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring salary range for this position is $85,000 - $130,000. This hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
