Staff Accountant
Town of New Castle is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Staff Accountant, responsible for assisting the Town Treasurer. Duties include accounts payable/receivable, payroll, budget, audits, year-end reporting and general ledger entries. Bachelor's degree required. 5 years' experience preferred. Starting Salary range $60k-68K.
The Town of New Castle seeks a staff accountant who will be responsible for assisting the Town Treasurer with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, budget preparation, audit preparation, year-end reporting, and general ledger entries. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, public administration, or related field is required. Five years’ experience in Municipal Finance or related field is preferred.
