Job Description Summary:
Function as a staff physician in the Department of Neurology. Duties
at KU will involve assisting in the general neurology clinics,
Hospital rounds, teaching medical students and neurology residents,
and fellows.

Job Description:

Be part of the Neurology program at the medical school.

Supervise neurology residents and medical students. This will include supervision of residents in the hospital wards, and in the general neurology and headache clinics.

Generally, resident continuity clinic supervision is once a month.

Teach medical students on the wards and in clinic, and provide occasional
lectures to medical students.

Pursue scholarly activity in the areas of headache medicine.

See patients in the outpatient headache neurology clinic.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education: MD, DO, or foreign degree equivalent
  • Work Experience: Neurology Residency required
  • Skills: Eligible for Kansas medical license. Background check required. Good written and oral communication skills.
