Job Summary
The Department of Athletic Training and Clinical Nutrition ( ATCN) in the University of Kentucky's College of Health Sciences ( CHS) is currently accepting applications for a full-time 12-month Clinical Title Series faculty position (non-tenure eligible) at rank determined by qualifications to begin employment on July 1, 2024.
Primary duties for this position are to provide didactic instruction using traditional and on-line methods, as well as laboratory instruction and advising students in the Professional Master's of Athletic Training Program ( PMATP). The specific teaching assignment will be based on program needs and the individual's expertise. The anticipated effort for this position is Instruction 75-85%, Research/Scholarship 0-5%, Service 5-15%, Professional Development 1-2% and will be considered based on an annual agreement. The Chair of ATCN will provide the direct supervision with input from the Director of PMATP.

- Eligible for Kentucky State Athletic Training licensure
- Strong commitment to fulfill the mission of the PMATP, the College, and the University
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a certified athletic trainer
- Instructional experience in higher education
- 3 or more years of instructional experience in higher education
- 3 or more years of clinical experience as a certified athletic trainer
- Familiarization with CAATE accreditation standards.
