Job Summary

The Autophagy & Metabolism group is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and collaborative individual to work as a Postdoctoral Scholar on translational and basic biomedical research in neurodegenerative and cardiovascular diseases. Our research focuses on elucidating the roles of autophagy and metabolism in normal cells/animals and in human diseases, utilizing a variety of techniques including transcriptomics/proteomics/metabolomics, other biochemical and cell biological assays, mouse behavioral tests, and confocal/intravital/mass spectrometric imaging.

More experienced individuals may be qualified for a campus staff position within the Ophthalmology & Visual Science department.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills and appropriate experience. Preference will be given to individuals with a strong background and prior research experience in areas listed in Job Summary.
