This position requires occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 40 pounds, and loading and/or unloading supplies and materials onto carts.
Shift
Primarily Monday – Friday, Day Shift; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (some weekend and evening work is required)
Job Summary
The primary purpose of this role is for medical education outreach and recruitment. This position will serve as the primary designee for these efforts.
This position coordinates all facets for existing pipeline and pathway programs (Professional Education Preparation Program-Scholars, Professional Education Preparation Program-MD, and UK Medical Education Development Program).
Implements and coordinates newly developed and approved outreach education programs.
Markets and promotes outreach programs, projects, and events on a regularly scheduled basis . Travels to represent UK College of Medicine at educational and recruitment fairs, school/college visits, etc.
The University of Kentucky considers the health, safety and well-being of our entire community to be a top priority. In alignment with this priority, all new hires must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption as a condition of employment. For areas that fall under the federal CMS mandate, start of employment cannot occur until two weeks after receiving the full COVID-19 vaccination series or upon obtaining an approved exemption.
