Job Description

Assist the Senior Associate Director of the Saint Louis Anchor Action Network to develop, implement, and coordinate high-profile projects that will advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in the purchasing and procurement space across the Region in coordinating with internal and external University of Missouri St. Louis partners.
  • Find Creative solutions to challenges that impact business partnerships, in the purchasing and procurement space, and ensure the organization reaches placement goals.
  • Collaborate with executive and senior leaders within UMSL and across the Saint Louis region with community partners across the UM System, including the Saint Louis Anchor Action Network members.
  • Use appropriate project management principles and tools to closely monitor, track, and complete assignments. Provide progress reporting on the various assignments.
  • Contribute to a fast-paced, exciting, and growing mission that seeks to improve purchasing and procurement for diverse Missourian businesses.
  • Provide strategic consultative support to internal and external partners, to drive the organizational initiatives.
  • The role will conduct training and present related content to senior leaders, participants, and members.
  • May also perform other administrative and reporting duties assigned by the direct supervisor.

Shift

40 hours. Additional hours may be needed during peak times.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range

Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Hiring Range: $50,367 - $70,879 Annual
Grade: GGS-010
