Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Development



Assists with event planning, external communication, and program assessments related to Life Skills and Panthers United. Leads content creation and brand enhancement areas. May serve as a liaison for life skills events and a varsity sports team.

Job Summary

Facilitates the life skills and varsity letter departmental and programmatic events for former and current student-athletes. Supports programs and events with collaborative working across a multi-faceted array of internal and external stakeholders and departments and coordinating the communications, public relations, and marketing for the department. Assists in evaluation, data tracking, and implementation of renewed-objective life skills events.


Essential Functions

Assists with the ideation, planning, and execution of events, including invoice and contract reconciliation.

Designs and oversees external communication, including event marketing, social media, and website content.

Provides secondary support related to data tracking, survey development and assessment, and program evaluation.

May serve on the Panthers United Board to activate diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts and provide operational support.

May serve as a Life Skills contact for a varsity sports team; meets with student-athletes individually to provide personal and extended professional development support.
