Laboratory Technician I

This position will provide technical assistance and perform experiments related to the Koenigshoff lab’s human PCLS projects.

Performs laboratory testing and some analysis on multiple types of specimen samples. Operates and properly sterilizes equipment and maintains inventory and assists with ordering.

• Handling and processing human tissue for experimental purposes
• Day-to-day lab maintenance
• Inventory management and recordkeeping
• Benchtop microbiological techniques including ELISA, western blot, qPCR

- Must be able to stand and/or sit for up to 8 hours.
